How are you doing in this hot summer?
I can't even manage to do a weekly #newtunes post, I'm so busy with sun and beaches, beer, and holidays.
But music is ever present and so this week I've picked not new tracks but a few that I remember through many hot summers.
You might even like some of it, or it might make you nostalgic for the good old days. But this is also a selection of songs for the weekend.

A beautiful ballad and a questioning of meaning in times that were not kind to him.

This song was a big hit in 1966 when it first appeared, and also later, in various covers, it reached very high positions in the charts.

The Zombies - Time of the Season
One of the summer hits (from 2007) of another, in my opinion, underrated band.
Dick Dale - Misirlou
This surf song only became famous when it was used in the film Pulp Fiction.
Bob Marley - Sun Is Shining
Lying on the beach with a cold drink in your hand, listening to Marley ... priceless.
Donovan - Sunshine Superman
As a curiosity, this track features the already popular folk singer Donovan, and unknown Jimmy Page on guitar ...
