New Tunes 26.8.2020

Hello music lovers! ๐Ÿ“ป ๐ŸŽง ๐ŸŽค ๐ŸŽถ ๐ŸŽต ๐ŸŽผ ๐Ÿ“ข

Last week I was impressed with some old and some new tunes. After I prepare the post I noticed that I choose mostly women singers? It was not my intent this just happen. I'm listening to these bands for a week. Each day.

And I find that some of these artists I must follow. They're so good and deserve listeners. And, if you like them, it's cool too.
Because one of my missions here is to share something that I like. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Covet - Falkor

This band is new to me. They play a kind of instrumental shoegaze, the guitar is very precise and clean. She plays with fingers which is rare these days. Perfection in fingers and bright future for her I could say.

Cafe Americaine - Southern Cross X

This chill out is from 2014 and reminds me of summer, youth, and nostalgic times which passed away. Just a couple thousand views on YT ... unknown and underestimated.

Emma Ruth Rundle - Full session

Emma is a new artist to me, saw the link on Twitter, click and listen. She has an amazing voice that perfectly complements the slightly darker atmosphere created by the other members of the band. In this video are two pieces from her latest album, On Dark Horses, 2018. Must say, I'm impressed and I'll follow her career from now.

EYOT - Heartbeat

Eyot comes from Niลก, Serbia. They play a little bit forgotten jazz-rock or crossover jazz. Very nice improvisation and great musicians. This piece is an intro for the album which will be released in October this year.

Warpaint - Majesty

Slow, and very feminine, even romantic. Of course, if they are girls themselves. Pre-band Depeche Mode, usually. I think YT suggested them to me. The sound is good and chill. Shoegaze again.

Apparat - Heroist

This is, more or less, the story. Highly engaging content, a precisely synchronized image with sound, and a story of loneliness and addiction. Timeless but not for everyone.

Muzz _ How Many days

Again something nostalgic, timeless, at least for me. Everyone who has listened to Interpol will be pleasantly surprised because Paul Banks also play a major role here. Very nice. I'll follow.

Listen loud!
