Hello music lovers! π» π§ π€ πΆ πΌ
Some of the music that is streaming on the internet is also reaching my ears. Of course, if you follow the subject on a daily basis then there is something to it. I would even rather be at a really live concert, and I hope that will be soon. Maybe later this month? Fingers crossed.

I'm sharing the new songs themselves in this #newtunes post. I was just amazed that I don't have to post something older to fill the quota, haha. If you like something that's fine, but feel free to skip to something else if you don't like it. Tastes vary.

Foo Fighters Back In Black with Brian Johnson
Foo Fighters performed Back in Black cover together with Brian Johnson of AC/DC. They sound very fresh and sharp. Unfortunately for me, I was not present at this event. I would have liked to have been there :(

Rodney Crowell - Something Has To Change
Rodney Crowell, the country icon, hasn't been heard much in recent years, the man has aged and that... But he still persists. The first single "Something Has to Change," announcing the new album, is out. It's very listenable, calm but at the same time with a message. Yes, I agree, something will have to change.

Squid - Pamphlets (Official Audio)
In their edgy debut, the English band offers a mix of jazz, funk, punk, krautrock in every track. It seems to me that it's all more than a style of playing, but more control of every note they play. I still quite like this fusion.

Billie Eilish - Your Power
A clip from The Late Show, just guitar and vocals. Of course, a diva-like Billie Elish can afford that and it sounds very good. As a prelude to the new, upcoming album Happier Than Ever. For all melancholics.

She Drew the Gun - Cut Me Down
She Drew the Gun, an England band, fronted by Louisa Roach again on the scene. In 2016 they won the Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent competition. Nothing drastic has changed in their music. They still insist on edgy psych-pop, electronic beats, and political lyrics.

Rumblin' Trouble - On The Road
Rumblin' Trouble is a young and more or less unknown band from Serbia, this is their debut album, from the sound you can hear that they are playing classic blues with a subtle guitar and expressive blues and a bit jazzy vocals. I'm sure they have a very bright future ahead of them. I highly recommend them.

Greta Van Fleet - Built By Nations (Audio)
From the new album The Battle at Garden's Gate. These guys are really very Led Zeppelin-like, but original at the same time. How do they do it, I wonder? Only great talents can play like that. Really excellent and I would like to see more of this.

Bab L' Bluz - Ila Mata
A Moroccan-French quartet who claims to be a rock band. Definitely. Hypnotic loops combined with deep funk played on traditional instruments such as awicha and gimbri. Very psychedelic.
By the way, they are this year's winners Songlines Music Awards 2021 in the Fusion category.
