Hello music lovers! πŸ“» 🎧 🎀 🎢 🎼 πŸ“’

I listen to music regularly. And if I have rhythms and melodies left in my head, I remember them. But I post some here. They stay on the blockchain forever :)
Did you listen to anything new this week?
You know, tastes are different, especially musical ones, but if you like something it’s cool.

And let's not forget that if anyone has a song that they would like to share with the community, just link it in the comment :)

Orbital - Halcyon Extended Version

I’ve been following this band since I watched the movie Johnny Mnemonic (1995). They have a song Sad But True in the movie that resonated in my ears for a long time and I became a fan.
Well, I watched this song here for the first time as a video, otherwise, I listened to it live at the Balaton Sound Festival in 2009. The video is kind of depressing (especially when you read that the woman in the video is the mother of one of the band members and she was addicted to drugs ...) but the music seems optimistic to me.

KORN - Would

I don't listen to Korn very often, but Alice In Chains much more, and when I heard this song on the radio, I went to YT to compare it to the original. I think it's a pretty good adaptation.

The Undertones - Teenage Kicks

This is a punk rock hit from my teenage years. The Undertones wouldn't be known if they weren't promoted by John Peel, the lead DJ and music journalist at the BBC, with this song. Still a fresh and striking song for youngsters, but for me, of course, nostalgia and the memory of youth :) 😎

Haiku Garden - Rosetta

Haiku Garden is a Slovenian group that performs shoegaze. They drew attention to themselves in 2016 with the EP Waver, they were well received by music critics and have been performing mainly in Europe ever since. They have been more at home last year as all of us. Quite fast, solid and melodic rock.

Caught A Ghost - Time Go

This American indie band and their style have nothing to do with my favorite music being fast rock and roll and psychobilly, but they crying pretty well. I'm not saying it's not good, it's very melodic and harmonious, there's nothing to add. Just why did I list them in #newtunes I wonder? Maybe because of the Public Domain video?

Lil Yachty - In My Stussy's ft. Vince Staples

Lil Yachty with his bubblegum rap style always has something interesting to say. Or just the circulation. Decide for yourself. :)

BRONCHO - Sandman

Broncho is an American indie rock band. Yesterday I came across this song which I still quite like. Ubiquitous guitars, a characteristic guitar riff, and vocals remind me of some other times and bands. Dandy Warhols maybe?

Chick Corea Akoustic Band - On Green Dolphin Street

Another great musician who has gone into eternity. The composer and pianist have dedicated his entire life to music. His songs like e.g. Spain, 500 Miles High, La Fiesta, and Windows are generally recognized as jazz standards. He played with all the great musicians of his time. In his memory, I choose another jazz classic that is exceptional in the interpretation of his band.
R.I.P. Chick.
