Fresh portion of the sounds again :)
If you are locked in an apartment and the movement is limited due to the epidemic, you have no choice but to listen to music. You can also watch a movie or a series, but you get tired of it. The music, however, flows non-stop.
Last week I listened to mostly the songs below.
Thievery Corporation - Full Performance (Live on KEXP)
I just love this band. I have been following this project of Rob Garza and Eric Hiltonfor many years and I have never been disappointed. This clip from KEXP, however, is one of the better ones in general.

Does anyone else remember Paul Young? An English teenage idol from the 1980s. It has an exceptional range of vocals. This is one of his bigger hits. I like it, a good combination of electronics and soul.

Bronski Beat - Smalltown Boy
Another outstanding vocalist. I’ve heard this song for I don’t know how many times, a classic of the new wave of British pop electronics in the 1980s. But I saw the official video for the first time a couple of days ago.

Siddharta - Napoj
Sidharta is (still) one of the best Slovenian rock bands. On YT I was looking for a trailer for new Dune movie and it showed me, among other things, this clip of the song Napoj (in Eglish - Potion). The costumes are really reminiscent of the old, classic Dune movie. In 2003 was a big hit.

Again, as I don't know how many times, quite by accident, on FB I see a clip of someone playing an instrument from beer cans. This guy burns blues like some new Seasick Steve. Worth to see and listen to!

Usssy - Lyutyy Ogon
Russian underground pioneers break down sound boundaries and successfully expand so-called “oriental noise rock” into the globalized music scene. Already in this song (in English - Furious fire) they are not afraid to mix traditional sounds and instruments with metal and shoegaze.

Hypnotic Brass Ensemble - Indigo
I really didn’t know that the eight members of this Chicago brass ensemble are the sons of jazz trumpet player Phil Cohran. But they play everything possible. Born musicians. This song was released exactly one month ago :)
