Kirk Hammett - High Plains Drifter

The Metallica guitarist has ventured into solo waters and recently released a four-song guitar EP for his soul (and fans, of course). For this one, he borrowed the name from Clint Eastwood's 1973 western. He starts with acoustic guitars and then expands the sound with brass, and organ, and then returns to metal guitars. Yeah, it'll be fine for the fans.

Horace Andy - This Must Be Hell

We sailed to Kingston, Jamaica with reggae and dub legend Horace Andy. To kick off the Midnight Rocker album, we have this track with an indestructible vocal that belts out classic Rastafarian themes. The production is top-notch (provided by legendary reggae and dub promoter and producer Adrian Sherwood). Probably one of the best reggae albums of the last few years. Highly recommended.

Moveknowledgement - My Left Foot

That song is the intro to the new, the sixth album 'Lying Cobra'. Moveknowledgement is a Slovenian band, I follow them from the start. I knew them as a very edgy rap funk band, but now they remind me of some psychedelic indie rock. At times I even heard Syd Barret. They have changed their style, which is a brave move, but sometimes it can be disastrous. Well, I like them. They swim with the current of contemporary psychedelia.

Molly Nillson - Absolute Power

After almost two decades of making music, Swedish artist Molly Nilsson has released her ninth album Extreme. She has made her mark in the music world with her fusion of synth-pop, pop, and electronica, more specifically with the simultaneous interplay of vibrant melodies and delicate vocals.
The fight against patriarchy and sexism as the foundations of modern society is highlighted in this album. The massive sound of the guitar, intertwined with the mournful vocals, lifts the listener above the dull world and infuses him with confidence.

Bakalina Velika - Zima

Slovenian imaginary new folk tradition, an abundance of epic, eclectic sounds and instrumentation that blends cleverly with the lyrics, a real mix of the traditional, the classical, the avant-garde, and the experimental. The video is fascinating too. Btw: Zima means Winter in English.

Toni.Drama - Fokus Pokus

A fresh Croatian band with their first single, they've only been on the music scene for about a year, but that doesn't limit them. Energetic music and melodies that smell of summer and go quickly to the ears, alternative pop-funk that will not leave anyone cold.

RIVERS ABLAZE - Descending

Rivers Ablaze is a Hungarian progressive black death metal band that has just released their third album. This song is the first single, described as a chaotic journey through space, without body, soul, and ego, fighting against unpredictability, a cruel vacuum, and entropy. Ugh, a whole death metal space opera!
A must for fans of the genre!

Leadfinger - Sleeping Dogs

To end a dog rock song. This song is the introduction to the sixth studio album 'Silver & Black' by the Australian band Leadfinger. Listenable and singable guitar riffs. Great production and vocals, and altogether it gives us (well, me at least) a feeling of optimism. Yes, rock'n'roll is blood and sweat, but you feel better after listening to it.
