Hello music lovers! 📻 🎧 🎤 🎶 🎼

A new delivery of sounds is here. They are more or less new, fresh tunes, but there are also some old ones, maybe they will remind you of something. The music harmonizes beautifully with the emotions and memories.

If you like something, that's fine, because my intention is mainly to share the music I listen to myself.

Syd Barrett (Pink Floyd) - Bob Dylan Blues

The late Pink Floyd icon and crazy diamond that shines, Syd Barret, wrote this song as a teenager during the pre-Pink Floyd phase when Bob Dylan was first touring Europe (February to May 1966). I came across it this week and decided to present it here. On 25 May, two days ago, Bob Dylan turned 80.

Danny Elfman - Insects

Danny Elfman, best known as a composer of film music, less so as the lead singer of the new wave band Oingo Boingo (1979-1995), has done a remake of an Oingo Boingo song from 1982 which will be released on his new double album "Big Mess" in June this year. A trippy surreal video with a fast beat and jittery guitar.

Sting - Fragile

Sting's stream from January this year. In my opinion, it's one of the best versions of this timeless song, perhaps even better in the solo guitar version. This song ages like a good wine.

Mad Daddy - Ride With Me

The band from Isle Of Man, UK, started their tour in 2015. Their music is described as "high-octane rock 'n' roll punk blues". This is a song from their debut album. I have nothing to add to the description of their music. Only that I would like to see this r'n'r energy live. I highly recommend it.

Enola Gay - Sofa Surfing

For the young band from Belfast, Enola Gay is this the second song they have officially published. But the energy and text capture the spirit of the times we find ourselves in so well. The rage and the scream are all we have left. I am sure we will hear more of them.

Sleater-Kinney - High In The Grass

An indie band from the US can boast a ten-year legacy in rock music. The song is the second single from the upcoming album Path Of Wellness, which will be on shelves in July. Provocative, alternative, poetic, and at times quite powerful, this song might convince you. Or not?

Koala voice - vertigo

One of the younger and more penetrating Slovenian rock bands, at a morning concert in March this year. Existential lyrics and a critique of the present, at times the guitar sound reminds me of Velvet's repetitive phrases.

And finally, the winners of the world's biggest festival, Eurovision 2021. Rock'n'roll will never die, said the singer. But is it really rock'n'roll? I think it is. Polished to the max and pleasing to the masses, backed by a huge business and media machine. It has become the main content of the MSM (Main Stream Media) corporations, which will pump the masses for a while...
