Hello music lovers! 🎡 🎧 🎀 🎢

Some #newtunes again, dear readers (and listeners). From the depths of YT, lesser-known and alternative labels I have dug out some new releases, maybe some of this will stay and resonate in someone's ears.

If not, the appropriate algorithms, pumped up by AI neural networks, will suggest you something similar and maybe even better for your ears near these songs :)
Anyway, if you like something, it's cool.

The Goon Sax - In The Stone

The Goon Sax, from Brisbane, Australia, has always, from their inception, told stories of the problems and embarrassments of young adults. And in these modern times, it’s much harder to be a younger adult than it used to be. In their new, third album, Mirror II, the music is melancholic, at times depressing but melodic, post-punk, and cool. At times they remind me of Dandy Warhols :)

MarΓa Grand - Now, Take, Your, Day

The Swiss-born jazz saxophonist, who has lived and worked in New York since 2011, wonders about motherhood in her second album Reciprocity. Yes, when she composed and sang it she was pregnant, so most of the works from this album have a relaxed, eclectic atmosphere. Like the spirited spiritual jazz of the 60s.

Mravi - Kratki rezovi

The new album of band Mravi (Engl. Ants, Kratki rezovi - Short cuts), a rock group from Belgrade, Serbia, is a long-awaited compilation of their old songs from 2008 up to 2014. Fans say they have been waiting for more than 5 years for something like this. Cool groove if you ask me.

Wolf Alice - Lipstick On The Glass

The third album, Blue Weekend, by London quartet Wolf Alice, has justified a four-year wait, say music critics. The band has grown into its own style, a mixture of folk and grunge, the vocals are very clean and clear, the other instruments blend harmoniously into each other and form a dreamy and at times even sharp sound image. Keep it up.

Bongzilla - Free the Weed

One of the first stoner bands, Bongzilla returns after 16 years with a new album, Weedsconsin. They haven't changed anything. Where they left off, they now continue on in the same stoner, occasionally hypnotic sound. Classic fuzz and simple riffs, maybe they still need to smoke their performances a bit :)

🎡 🎧 🎀 🎢

La Femme – Paradigmes

Probably the hottest French band at the moment. From jazz to punk, from country to funk, all of this mixed with psychedelic rock makes you shake up and release your weirdness.

🎡 🎧 🎀 🎢

TORRES - Thirstier

Torres presents a new Thirstier album with the title track. A classic, rhythmic pop piece that the singer sovereignly leads with her pleasant voice and good arrangements of all instruments. I have to admit it sounds very good and has the basics for a megahit.

Sault - London Gangs

New to me, this British band exists since 2019. The latest album, Nine, is even more focused on a mix of rhythm and blues, disco and minimalism than the rest. They seem to avoid the media as much as possible and expose black topics with texts and actions. Otherwise, I prefer not to get involved in political activism, but the sound is interesting.
