I’m on the last flavour of Protein Work’s Loaded Nut Pots. I think I have saved the best until last. Here she is. The Salted Caramel Cookie Ocean.

Loaded Nuts - Salted Caramel Cookie Ocean

Willie Wonka might have cookie oceans and rivers, but did you ever think you might? Well, we’ve perfected a non-naughty, lip-smacking caramel that will have you savouring every drop. Rich, gooey and packed full of flavour we then loaded this caramel with baked cookie pieces to bring a level of crunch and flavour that even we didn’t think was possible. Sounds good right? Add all this to our roasted nut mixture and you’ll be very quickly transported to nutty heaven. Each tub is then finished off with a pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt and Guerande Salt, a salt hand-picked from the west coast of France, used by chefs across the globe to take caramel to a true, next-level flavour nirvana.."

As with all of Protein Work’s nut butters, they really do have to be stirred very well before you dig in. This one especially. The fats all rose to the top and it was quite a layer to mix into the nut butter. It was hard work, but the end result was good. The nut butter was quite loose and not as firm as the others. I didn’t mind that as I only eat these with a spoon anyway. This one was the best! It had all the nutty flavour I was after and the salted caramel was sweet and salty, just how I like it. There was enough salt to really bring out the taste. It wasn’t over salty or under salty, it was perfect! I really liked the crunch go the cookie pieces too. This is by far my favourite and one I will always keep in my protein cupboard.

This one is always out of stock. I wonder why! It’s so delicious and as the other nut butters are chocolate based, it was really nice to have a caramel one. Whenever I see this in stock, I always make sure I buy a few so I’m not left without any. That would be disastrous! Love this one Protein Works!! This one is a winner for sure!!
