I had another hot dip from Marks and Spencers. This time it was a similar product like the M&S Collection Tear and Share Puff Pastry with Molten Camembert, so I wanted to try this one - M&S Lasagne Hot Eating Dip.
M&S Seriously Saucy Lasagne Hot Dip
”Meaty beef and pork ragu layered with a rich béchamel and oozy mozzarella cheese hot dipping sauce. Ideal for dunking nachos in or chunks of garlic bread."
As the M&S Collection Tear and Share Puff Pastry with Molten Camembert was so good, I went for their Lasagne Hot Eating Dip, Just like the other one, I had it with crisps and the Mini Beef & Porcini Filled Yorkshires. This was gooey too and the cheese was so stringy. The sauce really did taste like lasagne meat sauce and the béchamel was smooth. You did have very small minced beef and pork. Like when you ry mince and break it down into meat flakes rather than leaving it chunky. You could easily use this as a base for lasagne and all you would need are lasagne sheets. The sauce had really lovely meaty and cheese flavour, Personally, I would prefer the sauce to have more meat in it.
This is definitely on a par with the hot pizza sauce. Delicious. I think if M&S still kept this on their shelves, I would definitely get more. I 100% get both and serve with crisps, tortillas and bread. A quick and easy meal which isn’t good for the waistline, but definitely for the feel good factor. Delicious M&S. Well done! Please keep this around all year!
