Apart from having Protein Snacks as part of my healthy eating, I’ve also been taking in Protein Shakes too. Whenever I feel like I’m hungry or I want to boost my protein intake, then I have been having a scoop of Protein Works Whey Protein 80 (Concentrate). I have had three different flavours over my time of having them, so I wanted to tell you a bit about the flavours.

Vanilla Cremé
A lovely vanilla creamy colour. It does have a strong vanilla taste and smell, but I find towards the end of each mouthful, I do get a bit of a funny aftertaste. It starts to taste a bit fake and not as vanillary as first thought.
Chocolate Silk
Now this one is very chocolatey. It really does feel like silk as it goes down. A great chocolate taste and one that I would definitely go for again.
Wild Raspberry
A lovely fruity shake and a perfect raspberry colour. It does have a good raspberry flavour and it’s not as sweet as I thought it was going to be. A great alternative to the usual flavours.
Not sure I would go for the Vanilla Cremé one again. The aftertaste put me off. Definitely would have the Wild Raspberry one as it’s a change from having the usual bog standard flavours as expected with protein shakes. The Chocolate Silk one… Mmm you just can’t go wrong with chocolate.
