I love a digestive biscuit, but when I saw these, I knew I had to try them. There are three flavours and the one I really wanted to try first was this one. The Blood Orange Caramel. Here’s what I thought.

Mcvities VIB Blood Orange Caramel & Milk Chocolate Biscuit

First of all, if anyone doesn’t know. VIB stands for ’Very Important Biscuit’ And important they are. You can really smell the orange in these biscuits. You have the biscuit digestive base then the layer of orange caramel and then finished with a thin layer of milk chocolate. These have the lovely malty taste in the biscuit and the caramel is a soft chew. I love the flavour of the orange they managed to get into the caramel. It really does have a good strong blood orange flavour. I love these and they really feel like a posh biscuit.

I usually like to dunk my biscuits into milk to they soak up the liquid before you eat them. These ones don’t need any dunking at all. I love sitting there, biting into the biscuit and feeling my teeth go through he caramel. Then I like to inspect my teeth marks left on the remaining part of the biscuit. These are so delicious. I went through a stage of replacing the packet once I finished it as I always wanted some left in the cupboard incase you couldn’t buy them anymore.
