Hello All,

I had this meal Thursday night as I was dying to have this salad. I had the mixed sushi salad and chicken katsu before, but after I bought it, I saw they just had a chicken katsu salad. I couldn't wait to get it. Thing is, the place I have to go is about 30 mins drive and parking is expensive. Thankfully I was in the area that day and I managed to get what I wanted.

So I'm going from memory about the description. I didn't keep the box and I think I was too busy enjoying it than to take note of what was in the box. All I remember was that there was loads of crunchy coated sliced chicken, a good squeeze all over of some sort of mayonnaise. I wouldn't say it was spicy mayo, but it had some flavour in there that I really liked. I'm pretty sure there was some sort of sweet chilli sauce in the bottom, on top of the leaves. I ate the tomato first as that was the least favourite thing in the box. I didn't use the sliced lemon and put that to one side. I loved the crunch and taste of the chicken and the leaves added a nice bit of freshness. I did have my own kimchi that I had on the side with this too. I enjoyed this very much and I want to get another box very soon.

This was one of the best meals I had from Kokoro. I mean I love their hot chicken katsu and rice, but it's not something I can take home with me and have later on. This chicken box had the most delicious chicken in it and next time if I am fortunate to see it, I'm getting two boxes in. All for me and no sharing! I love this meal a lot. I just wish there was a local branch and I didn't have to travel so far and pay an extortionate amount for parking. (Even petrol is stupidly expensive now so it doesn't seem worth having to drive and pay for parking which costs more than double, maybe even more than the price of this salad!)
