I wanted something sweet to finish off the Great British Bake Off Final last night. I had these left in my cupboard. I recently had the Lotus Biscoff Sandwich Original Cream, so I wanted to see what this flavour was all about.
Lotus Biscoff Sandwich Biscuits Milk Chocolate
"Caramelised sandwich biscuits with a milk chocolate flavour filling."
I was a bit dubious about this one. I opened up the packet and took out my first biscuit. It looked alright with the chocolate filling, but I wasn't sure if this was going to taste more of chocolate than anything else. I took my first bite and the chocolate filling was pretty good and much tastier than how I thought it was going to be. The chocolate filling enhanced the flavour of the caramelised biscuit on the outside.
This turned out to be a very nice chocolate and caramelised biscuit. So much better than the original sandwich cream. I can see how bland that original cream was compared to the chocolate one. After being left underwhelmed, I was pleased to say this one was so much better than expected. I think the chocolate filling brought out the caramelised biscuit flavour. It was so much more flavoursome than the original cream. I think if I want a Lotus biscuit sandwich, then this one will 100% be first choice. A lovely chocolatey, biscuitty biscuit. Mmm Mmm Mmm!!!
