I’ve recently had a craving for Baklava again. I have had Levantine Table Luxury Baklava before, but I haven’t had the smaller box. I wanted to see if it was any different to the one I had before.
Levantine Table Classic Baklava Selection

I really did enjoy these little pieces of sweet, nutty, crunchy and flaky goodness. The filo pastry was so light and as you bit into the baklava, you could hear the pastry layers snap one by one. They were full of syrup but not too much that it drips out and makes a mess. The baklava managed to stay in one piece too. Sometimes when you lift them out of the tray, the filo comes away from the nutty base. This didn’t happen with these. It was nice to have the different nutty flavours too.
The only disappointment I had was that there wasn’t enough. The other box had a much wider variety of baklava pieces. Some even had dried fruit in it. Overall these were delicious and I wouldn’t say no to them whatsoever. Perfect little bitesized treats to get that sweet fix without the need for chocolate.
