Halloween Treats!
Last night I wanted something sweet to eat and I remembered I had some Mr Kipling Fiendish Fancies in the snack cupboard. I knew they were orange flavoured and I couldn't wait to try them.
Mr Kipling 8 Fiendish Fancies

As always, when I open the box, there is at least one of the fancies that looks like it's had no quality control whatsoever. It was on it's corner and the fondant icing was all mishmash. Thankfully that was the only one. There have been some instances were the box looks like it has been shaken around because the cakes are all over the place and not even covered properly. I was 99% happy with the look go them. The orange fondant was bright and it looked so Halloweeny with the black striped drizzle. The cakes were so fluffy and spongy and the vanilla flavoured cream filling on top was very smooth. I could taste the vanilla but it needed more vanilla as the orange flavour from the fondant icing overpowered it and all I could really taste was orange.
One thing that's great about this is that it tasted of proper orange. Not like the Krispy Kreme Jack o Lantern that tasted of barley there fake orange. This was really fruity and so tasty. It was like you were tasting actual orange fruit. Very nice Mr Kipling. Krispy Kreme, take note.
