I have never had a Colin the Caterpillar before and when I saw the Halloween 'Frankencolins' I knew I had to get some in. They looked rather cute actually and very tasty. Here's what I thought of these Halloween critters.

The first thing I notice is Frankencolin's cheeky face. His eyes are purple but he still looks cute and not at all scary. I guess he can't be too scary looking because he is intended for kids (and big kids I'd like to add). First of all I bite off his face. I couldn't bite the back of him knowing he could still see me! His face was thick white chocolate. Very milky and creamy. Yum! and then I got to the rest of him. He is coated in a thin layer of chocolate and decorated with multicoloured fondant polkadots. They weren't hard like I thought they were going to be. They were soft and I'm glad they were. The chocolate outing cracked as you bit into him. On the inside was a rich chocolate cake and a richer chocolate buttercream filling. He tasted like a mini decadent Yule log. Very, very chocolately! Are you sure these are for kids M&S? 'Haha!'
Frankencolin was very moorish. He was rich and tasty. I'm definitely going to have to treat myself to some more baby Colin the Caterpillars. I might even treat myself to a big Colin. He was so damn tasty and chocolatey. What have you done to me M&S? He is a star for sure.
