With Christmas just around the corner, I came across these Limited Edition Crisps that are around until Christmas. I have had vegetable crisps before but not just a bag of parsnip ones. Although when I first saw this bag I thought it was chilli and maple parsnip flavoured potato crisps. I didn't realise they were parsnip crisps until I opened the bag.

These crisps were very crunchy. A lot more than regular potato crisps. I didn't mind that though and I was glad they weren't greasy either. They started off tasting like sweet parsnip with a kick. As I got my way through more, the taste started to change. For some reason I couldn't taste parsnip anymore. All I could taste was coconut. It actually tasted like I was eating hot chilli coconut! The heat was coming through a lot more and there was no more sweetness at all. It really felt like I was eating coconut shavings with chilli. Yuck!
I didn't get any maple flavour at all. Just a sweetness to begin with. How the hell can these go from tasting of parsnip to coconut? What did this bag of crisps do to my tastebuds? I have no idea how these crisps got 4/5 stars. I would only give these 1/5 and that's pushing it! No no no! Do not like these at all.
