Hi Again Crisp Fans,
As well as having the Chilli & Maple Parsnip Crisps, my husband decided he was going to open another bag of crisps. He went for the Tesco Finest Mature Cheddar & Onion Crisps. Of course I was going to help myself to some of these. At least to take away the taste of the other ones. I mean these were cheese and onion crisps. What could go wrong?

First of all, when my husband opened these up they really wafted across the room. There was no mistake that these were cheese and onion crisps. They were so smelly! They really made the whole room hum of cheese and onion. The thing is, it wasn't a nice smell. It was a really off putting smell. I still went in to try them. My husband handed me the bag and (I don't know why I did this), I took a big whiff. "Pheewee!!" They really did smell! I took out a few crisps and I tasted them one by one. They were packed full of flavour. My fingers were covered in seasoning. The taste was so strong! Really strong! No wonder they smelled so much! There was certainly a lot of cheese there and to me the onion was to a minimum.
I wish there was more onion flavour in these crisps. I think it would have balanced out the taste a lot more. I think these crisps could have done with some acidity. They were ok but I certainly wouldn't eat these in public. Not with that smell. I've had sweaty socks smell better than these crisps!
