Good Afternoon Chocolate Friends,
I bought these Mini Connie's for Valentine's Day. Not to eat on Valentines day, but to eat when I felt like it. I just wanted to have some of these cute caterpillars with the hearts. The problem with them is that they look too cute to eat! I had to do it though. There was also Mini Valentine's Colins too that were the same as the Connie's, but they had heart eyes, whereas Connie had the pink bow.

As soon as you open the packet, you can tell these are M&S. The chocolate smells so good and there is so much detail put into both Connie's and Colins. The faces! They are just adorable. Both having the happiest smile ever. I really do like the heart eyes on Colin and the pink bow on Connie. They do look they are loved up for each other. First of all, I have to go in and bite off the face. I feel it's the kindest thing to do. The white chocolate is rich and creamy. You get a thick amount of chocolate too which is always a bonus. Then onto the body. The chocolate mini Swiss roll is full of chocolatey goodness. The cake is moist and not crumbly and they you get the rich cream filling. The shell surrounding the rolls is so thin. I do like hearing the cracking of the chocolate as I bite into these babies. Also the fondant hearts on top are nice and not too sweet. The only thing I would say about the hearts is that some of them drop off and as there are so many of them, I find you get showered in them if you're not careful. I guess it brings a whole new meaning to sharing the love!
I'm totally in love with Connie and Colin caterpillars. Look great and taste divine. They're not just for kids either! They taste too good for kids! Very nice decorative little caterpillar cakes. One of my favourites!
