Chocoholics,
My friend from Croatia knows how much of a snack monster I am and he kindly sent me some chocolate and sweet gifts. Last night I wanted something chocolaty to eat but I didn't want anything heavy. I went to my cupboard and I saw these. As they had wafer in, I thought they would hit the spot. Here's what I thought.

I opened the box and I saw a very neat columns and rows of chocolate wafers. I took my first one. It was definitely light. I was hoping I was going to like them because my friend did it as a surprise and because they are dark chocolate and I prefer milk chocolate. I bit into my first one. I got that lovely crispy sound as I bit thought through they layers of wafer. The chocolate, albeit dark, actually tasted really nice. Some dark chocolates are very bitter. This one wasn't so much. I loved the chocolate cream in the middle too. It definitely had a sweetness to it. To be honest, only now I am reading the description that I realise it was chocolate cream. I honestly thought it was a milky cream in the centre. I'm not complaining. These were yummy!! They went down a treat!
The downside to liking these so much is that I can't get them here!! I really enjoyed these wafers. Definitely made a change from eating UK chocolate. Also what I like about these is that the chocolate was very tasty and chocolatey. I hate American chocolate. I don't know what they do to theirs, but it tastes like puke! This was so good. I'm hoping my friend will send some more over now. I hope he is reading this!
