Good Afternoon,
I had this last night whilst watching the end of a series on Disney+. After finishing my delicious dinner, I wanted something sweet and fresh but not heavy. It's been ages since I had a trifle, so that's exactly what I had.
Tesco Raspberry Trifle 600G
"Layers of raspberries in a raspberry flavoured jelly, sponge, custard and stabilised cream.

The layers were very even and the cream on top was so fresh, smooth and light. With every spoonful you could see the even layers. It was nice to have a bit of everything with each mouthful. The cream was so fluffy and tasted very creamy. The custard was smooth as silk and that had a great flavour to it too. There was lots of fresh raspberry in the bottom jelly section. However I had to take a very close look at a particular bit of raspberry on my spoon. I actually thought it was a bug that had landed in there. It was almost black and I genuinely thought it was a woodlouse or similar. Thank God it wasn't. I inspected it close enough and then I ate it. So glad it was a bit of raspberry and I wasn't wrong! The only thing that was missing in this trifle was the sponge. There was sponge in the bottom jelly layer, but nowhere near enough. More fruit than anything else, which isn't a bad thing. I was missing my cakey element though.
I did finish the whole tub! It tasted so good and I'm pretty sure it was better than eating 600g if chocolate! I do love a fruity dessert and you can't go wrong with a classic.
