I was given these marshmallows for part of my Valentine's Day gifts. I thought these looked really appetising and different to the normal marshmallows that are found in the shops. I was looking forward to eat them.

The packet felt quite light, but I guess you would expect that from marshmallows. I did look at the calorie content and I was surprised to see how many calories were in per mallow. That's rather a lot considering how many calories are in our normal ones. I guess the chocolate content doesn't help. Thankfully the day I had them, calories were not being counted. I opened the pouch and inside were these chocolate cubes of marshmallow. I took a bite and the mallow was so pink. I could see the flecks of the raspberry through the mallow too. This tasted really fruity. I'm not really a fan of dark chocolate, however the chocolate coating was so thin and it went really well with the fruitiness of the raspberries. These tasted a lot nicer than I was expecting.
I really did like these. I don't normally have marshmallows for snacks and it was a really nice change to have some with real pieces of fruit in the middle. I just wish the calories weren't so high! I guess in a way it is a blessing to stop me eating so many if I am ever given or buy another pouch. A very adult marshmallow treat!
