How's going? Here's damn hot, 33 degrees Celsius, and just one cold beer won’t help. More will be needed. Now I have two in front of me but already thinking what then?
Certainly, today is the warmest day of the year, already tomorrow and on Monday it will supposedly cool down. We'll see. I hope that without any hurricanes and tornadoes ... the only thing that's clear to me is that it won't work without a cold beer :)

Beerbulli California Common
Brewed by Tektonik Craft Brewery, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Bought in local Lidl store, bottle, 0.5 l, alcohol 4.7% ABV.
There's an interesting story behind this beer, it's brewed for beer van. What is a beer Van? It's renewed VW Bull Van from 1961 and they use it for beer delivery and parties.

The second part of the story is California Common beer.
They say that this is a very special summer beer, brewed according to an old brewing recipe from the 19th century, which was brought to America by German immigrants. At a time when refrigerators were still science fiction.
Nice, I like to taste beers brewed from old recipes when people had more time and paid attention to details ...
The beer is light brown in color, the foam is small and disappears very quickly. In the first sip, I feel a slight caramel that continues into the tropical fruit, and more in the background, the constant bitterness of the hops, which quickly disappears in the aftertaste.
Maybe it's a little watery, but definitely still drinkable, to me, it's more like English ales than German lagers. Still fine for such a very hot day as today.

Kaj-Pa IPA
Brewed by Lepi Dečki Brewery, Čakovec, Croatia. Bought in Roto store, bottle, 0.5 l, alcohol 6.6% ABV. It's Rye IPA style, very hoppy and bitter with rye malt.
Well, let's try this one.
Light brown, little foam but lasts longer. Already the first sip is very concrete. The bitterness of hops is very pronounced, supported by rye malt, and later citrus aromas creep in. And that taste stays to the end.
Very refreshing, very balanced flavors and aromas, I don’t know if this impression gives just rye malt but for me a very good beer. A real surprise. I think I should have it in my fridge.
