Hello, beer tasters! 🍺 🍻 😎 🍻 🍺

How are you? Finally, after all the commitments this week, I sat down in my makeshift studio and indulged in a couple of beers in peace. Special beers, because it’s time for #beersaturday.

Yes, I take time for this activity on Saturday. Dedicated, of course. Here we are still in lockdown, children in the rooms are playing games, older LoL, younger Minecraft, the wife is on a walk with the dog, and I have my peace. Finally.
Otherwise, I've been sawed wood all day ... and the beer will fit me very well.

Young's Double Chocolate Stout

Brewed by Eagle Brewery, Bedford, England. Can, 0.44 l, alcohol 5.2% ABV. It's a stout, black beer, with a pronounced roasted flavor and enriched usually with coffe or chocolate or both. This one is double chocolate.

Dark, black color, solid foam. Very creamy the first sip. Distinct chocolate flavor, very creamy, as if drinking chocolate cream, with the sweetness of roasted malt in the background. Sweet and at the same time bitter, to know you're drinking beer. In the end, the bitter taste of chocolate and hops remains, and the malt disappears.

Very balanced and tasty beer. Although I am not a fan of dark beers I will change my mind. I should have this beer in the fridge. Instead of dessert.
I quickly emptied the can and go to the next one.

Trooper Soon And Steel Sake Lager

Brewed by Robinsons Family Brewery, Lower Hillgate, England. Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 4.8% ABV. It's a collaboration with Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson and Robinsons Brewery infused with sake. Ok, let's try it.

Clear yellow color, average foam. In the first sip I feel some discreet acidity, citrus or fruit, the sweetness of the malt, and the bitterness of the hops are in the background, all very mild. In the end, all the flavors and aromas quickly disappear. Another sip and the same.

I do not know what to say. Nothing special. I have a feeling Iron Maiden doesn’t know exactly what to do with this beer. Maybe it’s good in a plastic jar at concerts? I don’t know, I don’t listen to this band, and I wouldn’t drink this beer either unless I had to, haha. What changes or improves sake? I have no idea. It definitely won’t be in my fridge.

And what do I listen to as I write this? Guitars. From my weekly post #newtunes. Namely a piece that they say is one of the hardest to play. Well, this hypnotic riff I can listen to for hours :)
