Hello, dear beer tasters! 🍺 🍻 😎 🍻 🍺

Thank God, this new year is finally over. I really don't remember, if ever, we were home alone for New Year's Eve, without visiting neighbors, without walking outside, lighting rockets and toasting everyone with champagne ... but we somehow survived ...

Luckily, today is the first #beersaturday this year and it’s not that boring. Well, with this post, I wish all my readers, members of the BEER community, owners of the !BEER token and everyone else on the Hive blockchain a healthy and successful New Year 2021. And let the alt coins go up this year ...

If I go back to beer, I haven't (yet) managed to drink my "Bier Handtasche XXL" to the end, but I'm trying my best :)

HuzarenTrunk Lager

Brewed by commercial brewery Schloßbräu Rheder, Rheder, Germany. Bottle, 0.33l, alcohol 5.3% ABV. Lager style. They say that

the beer is brewed to old traditional recipes of the long-time brewery owner Adolf Freiherr Spiegel v.u.z. Peckelsheim, Rittmeister in the hussar regiment 1.Westphalian No.8 in Paterborn-Schloß Neuhaus.

Hussars were mounted soldiers in Central Europe from the 15th century onwards. And I'm sure they liked beer, so this could be tasty ...

Golden color, head solid. The first sip goes smoothly down the throat, the sweetness of the malt predominates over the bitterness of the hops, perhaps the discreet taste of caramel in the background and nothing else. I would dare say it's a quite pleasant lager, but it doesn't really stand out. Little too simple.

Störtebeker Atlantik-Ale

Brewed by Störtebeker Braumanufaktur, Stralsund, Germany. Bottle, 0.33 l, alcohol 5.1% ABV. Pale Ale style.

The beer is yellow, the foam solid. The sip goes nicely down the throat, first, you feel the bitterness of the hops, which slowly subsides and then other flavors appear, especially fruit, citrus, then grass, and hay.
Very well coordinated flavors and aromas and very drinkable beer. It would fit in my fridge.
I tried to order online but they only ship by Germany :(

Mohren Pale Ale

Brewed by Mohrenbrauerei, Dornbirn, Austria. Bottle, 0.33l, alcohol 5.5% ABV. American Pale Ale (APA) style they say.

Dull golden colors with solid and firm foam. The solid bitter taste of hops immediately in the first sip is equivalent to several fruit flavors, lemon, grapefruit, orange. Then the sweetness of the malt prevails, the flavors of the fruit are still present and at the end and after a sip the sweetness disappears and only the bitterness of the hops remains.

Great beer! I rarely say that, but this is out of series. The first two beers were also very good, but this one surpasses them in taste and aromas. I would immediately try to order a package if they have an online store ... But I wouldn't go to the Biersommelier course. Maybe one of you would go?
