Hello, dear beer tasters! 🍺 🍻 😎 🍻 🍺

How's Christmas going? I'm continuing with tasting my “Bier Handtasche XXL", which could be emptied by the new year :)

And what do your crypto investments look like? You definitely have something, since you are reading this on a crypto social network;)
I can’t really complain, hodling BTC is currently worth it because it’s going to heights ... I didn’t expect the value of the 0.45 BTC I own to double in one year. What now, sell, or hodl on? I hope Hive goes up too ... someday ... 😎 🍻
Well, to get back to the beer ...

🍺 🍻 😎 🍻 🍺

Grieskirchen Landl Bier

Brewed by Brauerei Grieskirchen, Grieskirchen, Austria. Bottle, 0.33l, alcohol 5.3% ABV, pilsener.

Orange color, clear, with solid durable foam. The first sip runs down your throat smoothly, you feel more malt than hops, the taste of beer is quickly lost.
Nothing special but fine. An average pilsner and nothing more to add here.

🍺 🍻 😎 🍻 🍺

Flötzinger Zwickl

Brewed by Flötzinger Brauerei Franz Steegmüller, Rosenheim, Bavaria, Germany.

Bottle, 0.33l, alcohol 5.1%, Zwicklbier style... which means, a young, unfiltered, unpasteurized version of the traditional German beer style and slightly less hoppy.
OK, and what they say?

500 years of the Purity Law. Reason enough to brew something special: The Flötzinger Zwickl is slightly softer due to the natural cloudiness, the delicate hop aroma and spiciness ensure a refreshingly tasty beer experience.

The beer is clear yellow color, the foam is solid. It flows nicely down the throat, the sweetness of the malt is in the foreground, the bitterness of the hops in the background and the discreet taste of citrus, lemon I would say. All in all, it is well-tuned. Which is fine.

A little different lager than I'm used to, but it will be fine, no aggressive flavors, it's still quite decent for daily drinking.

🍺 🍻 😎 🍻 🍺

Budvar Dark Lager

Brewed by Budějovický Budvar, České Budějovice, Czech Republic. Bottle, 0.33l, alcohol 4.7% ABV.

Black in color, solid foam that lasts for a while. The first sip goes smoothly down the throat, you immediately feel the roasted malt, the taste of burnt, but not very pronounced, I do not feel the bitterness of hops, some coffee is also in the background.
Far from a porter, but still for a try ... I could say a light-dark beer.

And I'm listening to The New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble. I recorded this about a year ago, cool ska-jazzy mood ... and I had no idea it might be the last recording for a very long time...
