We’ve been in lockdown for a good month now, the situation isn’t getting any better and nothing looks like we’ll be able to celebrate anything more than just being in the family for Christmas. We have already started :)

Beer is a clear golden color with average foam. The first sip is full of flavors of cereal and bread with a hint of citrus. The bitterness of the hops is discreet, the sweetness of the malt is more pronounced but is felt all the time. Another hearty sip and the bottle is empty.
Flavors and aromas are present in the mouth for some time. Very tasty beer, Bavarian ancestors already knew what beer was all about.
I have to go to the next one because this beer, unfortunately, ran out :(

Alpen Stoff
Brewed by Bürgerbräu Alpenstoff, Bad Reichenhall, Bavaria, Germany. Bottle, 0.33 l, alcohol 5.3% ABV.
This beer seems to be meant for hikers. Nice, I'm a mountaineer too when I go on a trip to the highlands. :)
The beer is darker golden in color, the foam is less but firm and stays long. The first sip is pleasant, the taste of malt is in the foreground, the bitterness of the hops is in the background, some fruity aromas are felt minimally, it runs smoothly down the throat. All right, I'd say. After three or four hours of hiking, it definitely fits.
These two Bavarian beers are very good. I would leave some in the fridge but I got them in a package. Attention - I have 10 more beers from "Bier Handtasche XXL", I hope they will last until Christmas :)
