Hello beer tasters!
1st of May is nearby. Do you thinking about a way to improve our Steem community? Check out my SPUD (Steem Power Up Day) post. There's an idea I share around. Small step for each Steemian means big step for community. And a new beer here, of course.
Rodenbach Grand Cru
It's brewed by Brouwerij Rodenbach, Roeselare, Belgium. It's filtered and blended of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats, they say. Interesting, let's taste.
Dark brown color, solidly sour as balsamic vinegar with a little sweetness of grape. Various tastes from fruits to oak, very complex for classic beer taster I think.
Very good ratings at Ratebeer, many awards, as you can se from the picture above. But from my opinion, very far away from lager, pilsener or ale. It tastes more like home made cyder than a beer.
