Yesterday, I went to the Spar store for something and saw a commercial for a new beer from the largest Slovenian brewery Laško (which is a part of Heineken). Of course I had to take two cans...
Laško Golding
Can. Golden yellow color, very clean, foam average. Laško Gloding is a classic lager made from hops called The Savinja golding. In the first sip, the taste of the hops may be slightly more pronounced, medium bitter, flowing nicely on the throat, and finally the malt flavor remains.
Nothing special. Otherwise, it's fresh and drinkable, but I expected more than this from one of the oldest breweries. I don't see any differences with the classic industrial lager from the Laško brewery. Well, the difference is in price, a few cents is more expensive. Maybe because of more colorful cans?
I hope that they will do a little bit more next time.
