Hello beer tasters!
As you can see...I got it! Well, I'm not infected, I'm in self-isolation and my health is OK for now...I mean I got the Corona beer! As I mentioned in my last beer tasting post, I ran out of beer and I had to go to the nearest grocery store for a few cans.
Otherwise, the saleswoman at the cash register with a mask on her face looked a little weird when she saw that I also took one bottle of Corona...
Corona Extra
Brewed by Grupo Modelo - Corona, Colonia Anáhuac, México. They say that it's the number-one selling beer in Mexico and the leading export brand from Mexico. Bottle, 0.33 l, alcohol 4.5% ABV, pilsener.
The beer is clear yellow color, very little foam that disappears quickly. First sip, light, tasty, floral and fruity with some citrus notes. Not bad stuff on really hot days and when you're really thirsty. But...just a standard pilsener, nothing special.
Nothing special, but drinkable. Well, I expected something more than standard, especially if this is the best known Mexico brand. Some people said that it's better with a piece of lime? I don't know...anyway, maybe I'll taste it with lemon in the summer if I'll have a chance.
And I'm listening to Los Bitchos - The Link Is About To Die, looks like a kind of recipe but it's just a nice surf-rock-pop-nostalgic tune. Just laid back :)
