In this series, I will review one unit at a time, picking them randomly.
So let me spin the wheel again and see what I get:
Space Wolves, Fenrisian Wolves
10th Edition Index
Fenrisian Wolves are actual Wolves. Unlike Space Wolves and all their units which have Wolf in their name, but this means their theme. Fenrisian Wolves are actual wolves. They are apex predators and because Space Wolves (the Space Marines) go out and dominate packs of them with their bare hands, these beasts get taken into war with the Space Wolves.
In battle, they have recently become less useful with no Objective Control score and no ability to perform actions, their usefulness has dropped.
However, they are a mere 30pts for 5 models and make for excellent chaff/move blockers. They can also be fielded as 10 models for 60pts.
A box of 5 does set you back $42 which makes then super expensive for the points they represent on the battlefield.

They can charge in a turn that they Advance.
Thoughts
Against most units worth their salt in combat, these Wolves don't stand a chance. So against Space Marines, Orks and most other foes, the Fenrisian Wolves would stand someplace, blocking the enemy from moving unless they expend resources to get rid of them.
Conversely, there are a few units in the game so bad at combat (I am looking at you T'au scum!) that these Fenrisian Wolves can attack to keep them from shooting or they can try force a tank to shoot with lowered Hit Rolls due to being in Engagement Range of an enemy.
When you have 30pts left over while building a list... you stick them in. I am doing that with my competitive Ironstorm Space Wolf army with the last points update.
That makes 3 Space Wolf Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 8.57% Completed! The total Completed on 9.37% Complete! Can I review them all?!
