So let me spin the wheel again and see what I get:
Death Guard, Malignant Plaguecaster
10th Edition Index
The Malignant Plaguecaster or Fart Wizard(TM) is a Chaos Sorcerer dedicated to the service of the Plague God Nurgle.
Usually you could only get this model from the one Starter Box of (I think) 7th of 8th Edition called Dark Imperium. OR, you can buy the Chosen of Mortarion box for $44 for 3 models including this one.
He costs 65pts
Let's check his stats!

Save 3+(armor/invul/Feel No Pain)

Basic stats for a "secondary" leader in a Space Marine army but with -1 Movement and +1 Toughness that is typical for Death Guard.
Weapons
For Ranged he has a Plague Bolt Pistol, which is just a Bolt Pistol with Lethal Hits and Plague Wind (told you.... Fart Wizard). Like many psychic powers, this ranged psychic attack has a focussed witchfire profile which is Hazardous.
Ranged:
Plague Bolt Pistol
12" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 2+. S4, AP0 and 1 Damage.
Lethal Hits, Pistol
Plague Wind — witchfire
12" Range, D6 Shots, S4, AP-1 and D3 Damage each.
Torrent, Psychic
Plague Wind — focused witchfire
12" Range, D6+3 Shots, S6, AP-2 and D3 Damage each.
Torrent, Psychic, Hazardous
So you get a guaranteed 3 extra hits, +2 Strength and an extra Armor Piercing. In exchange, roll a dice and suffer 3 Wounds if you roll a 1 and you stink yourself. Lol.
Melee:
Corrupted staff
4 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S6, AP-1 and D3 Damage each.
Lethal Hits, Psychic
Not fantastic, but an OK addition to a squad's attacks.
Abilities
Pestilent Fallout
If he scores a Wound with his Plague Wind, the enemy unit is at -2 Movement, -2 to Advance moves and -2 to Charge rolls. (They had their mouthes open and everything!)
Gift of Contagion
In the Shooting Phase, select an enemy within 18" and visible to the Fart Wizard. Roll a Dice. On a 1, the Fart Wizard's unit takes D3 Mortal Wounds... this is a backfire. On 2+, this is successful. Until the next turn, that enemy unit is at -1 to Wound rolls in Melee.
Thoughts
The Torrent attack is strong and the Gift of Contagion is also powerful since Death Guard are already an army that has usually 1 more Toughness than other Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines.
So if two Space Marine level units hit each other, Strength 4 vs Toughness 4 makes for a 4+ roll. Toughness 5 makes for a 5+ roll... get hit by Gift of Contagion and now its a 6+ roll which means if the unit did not have weapons with higher than S4 in melee, they will be doing nothing that turn in combat, severely putting a blunt on their attacks!
That is 6 Death Guard Datasheets reviewed putting them on 18.75% Completed and the total Completed on 7.10% Complete!
