Warhammer 40k - Unit Review Library 88 - T'au Empire, Breacher Team

Source

Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - The Great Unit Review Wheel! post!

Now known as the Unit Review Library!

What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit!

In this series, I will review one unit at a time, picking them randomly.

So let me spin the wheel again and see what I get:

T'au Empire, Breacher Team

10th Edition Codex

Breacher Teams are T'au Battleline units, some of the core basic troops of the T'au army. Their main objective is to take objectives and to clear enemies off objectives.

Like most T'au, they are a threat at range but not much of a threat in melee. That said, they are extremely limited on range, their Pulse blasters have a 10" range, but have Assault. So they can move, advance and fire away. On the upside, the Pulse blaster is a pretty strong weapon.

It costs 100pts to field a unit of 10 models. A box costs $60.

Let's see his stats!

Abilities

Breach and Clear

When this unit shoots at an enemy that is within range of an Objective, they re-roll the Wound roll.

DS8 Support Turret

When this unit remains stationary, the sergeant... called the Shas'iu deploys a Support Turret and can fire with that weapon. It has a much longer range than the unit but it is automated so not we

Thoughts

Well, this squad is all about taking control of objectives. Their ability means that they can probably run right up to an objective that is controlled by the enemy, shoot them and then that unit will also come under fire from the rest of the T'au army which has massive amounts of firepower.

After that, the Breacher Team would not intend to charge the enemy unit, rather relying on their OC2 to take control of the objective if there is still something left of the enemy after concentrated firepower!

That makes 5 T'au Empire Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 11.9% Completed! The total Completed on 9.06% Complete! Can I review them all?!

Thank you for reading!
