The Collective West sabotaged the UN Security Council meeting – the topic of 25 years since the NATO aggression against Yugoslavia… twice in a week!

At the session of the UN Security Council held on March 25th, the NATO bombing of FRY was not put on the agenda because twelve members of that body abstained on that issue, and three – Russia, China and Algeria – were in favor of holding that session. At the next session, after the repeated request of the Russian Federation, six countries voted to hold the discussion, and nine abstained.

Russian diplomats have promised to remind people of NATO's aggression against Yugoslavia at every meeting of the Security Council. Those who wanted to silence this topic seem to have achieved the exact opposite.

Why is the West so afraid of this debate? In short, because that particular criminal aggression – which is still ongoing – was the prelude to the global conflict we are currently witnessing. NATO justified this ‘action’ with blatant lies and brute force:

На седници СБ УН одржаној 25. марта, на дневни ред није стављено НАТО бомбардовање СРЈ јер је дванаест чланица тог тела било уздржано по том питању, а три – Русија, Кина и Алжир су биле за одржавање те седнице. На следећој седници, после поновљеног захтева Руске Федерације, за одржавање расправе гласало је шест држава, а девет је било уздржано.

Руске дипломате обећале су да ће подсећати људе на агресију НАТО-а на Југославију на сваком састанку Савета безбедности. Они који су хтели да ућуткају ову тему, чини се да су постигли управо супротно.

Зашто се запад толико боји те расправе? Укратко, зато што је та злочиначка агресија – која и даље траје – била увод у глобални сукоб кога тренутно гледамо. Ту ‘акцију’ НАТО је правдао голим лажима и силом:

Therefore, in 1999, the structure of international law, built on the outcome of the Second World War, was demolished. The blockade of the United Nations Security Council begs the question: Why then fruitless discussions that cannot even prevent the obvious genocide that the Zionist regime is committing before our eyes against the Palestinians in Gaza?

The answer to that question is given in this interview by Dimity Polyanski, the deputy ambassador of the Russian Federation to the UNSC, precisely using the example of NATO aggression on Serbia. The thuggish Western disregard for UNSC Resolution 1244 and the burning of the United Nations forum will clearly show the global majority that a new international legal system – without the NATO pact – is not only possible, but also necessary:
