Fürst Carl Kellerbier
Brewed by Fürstliches Brauhaus Ellingen, Ellingen, Bavaria, Germany.
Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 5.1% ABV, IBU 15.
It's Kellerbier or Zwickelbier style, which means young, unpasteurized, unfiltered German beer directly from the barrel.
What do the master brewers say?
Our unfiltered "cellar beer" is available in cask and is bottled directly gently by hand into the barrel. This specialty is completely untreated, leaving the valuable nutrients and vitamins are vital. A special kind of pleasure and every season..

The beer is cloudy yellow, and the head is creamy. It smells of malt and herbs. A sip goes down the throat smoothly, and in the mouth, I first taste the sweetness of the malt, the taste of bread, and the background herbs.
A slight bitterness appears only in the aftertaste and then slowly disappears.
The beer is fresh and drinkable. No strong flavors or extremes. Very harmonious and balanced. Although nothing stands out, it's very tasty. The problem with such fresh unfiltered beers is that sometimes something stands out from the taste and they can be completely undrinkable.
Well, that's all right. I would really like to have it in the fridge, but that will be difficult, I got it from Kalea Beer-box, and they only ship from the store to Germany, so it can't be ordered here.

Wieninger Gmoastier Weisser Bock
Brewed by Privatbrauerei MC Wieninger, Teisendorf, Bavaria, Germany.
Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 7.1% ABV, IBU 25.
It's a Weissbier or Weizenbock style beer, which means that it's strong, wheat ale, malty, and sometimes fruity but less hoppy. It could be dark or pale.

The "Gmoastier" is the strongest bull in the village. As a breeding bull, he moves from cow to cow to do his work. This beer is bursting with power with its extraordinary body. But it also has a particularly sweet, fruity aroma, so people like to take it to spend a few pleasant minutes with him.

The beer is a cloudy golden color, with a little head. It smells of cereal. The sip goes down the throat smoothly, the mouth first tastes malt sweetness and the taste of bread and flour, banana and caramel.
I don't even detect any alcohol, it appears later in the aftertaste with a slight hop bitterness which soon disappears.
Good and drinkable beer, very tasty. The fruit and caramel flavours are quite pronounced, I suppose because then the alcohol strength is then hidden.
But I wouldn't recommend more than one, it can be sneaky because it's very tasty and after two or three beers like this, you don't know exactly what it's going on...
