I start this series with a saying that @yessi08 left in installment 40, this saying was often said by her grandmother, who was, in my opinion, a very wise person; and according to what @yessi08 herself tells us, it is a saying that is used when even knowing the negative consequences of an act or behavior, we insist on doing it; so there is nothing to complain about, or in any case, go to hell itself to complain, hahahahaha.
This is a very popular saying, and is frequently used by @belkyscabrera's grandmother; and with it, it is about indicating that people cannot be constantly postponing tasks and activities, on the contrary, they must be agile, move quickly and act in a timely manner, in order to take advantage of the moment and have more benefits, more fruits of their effort and worked. This saying comes from the life of the sea, because when a shrimp, a crustacean present in the seas, rests or sleeps, it can be dragged without realizing it by the water currents; and in the same way it can happen to humans, if they are careless and do not do what they should do soon, they are dragged by circumstances, without being able to have any control over the situation.
A person who has fun and I think laughs a lot with proverbs is @lisfabian, and in a previous edition, she shared this proverb that I present here; and it is so true! Well, many times, people dedicate themselves in body, soul and spirit, hahaha, to doing something, to building and when they are almost close to reaching the goal, to finish, then they get tired and give up, losing everything they have invested, it could be said that he who behaves like this lacks persistence or loses hope.
A very active user on Hive is @parauri, and a few days ago she visited my blog and left this proverb in the previous post about proverbs, which is a widely spread saying in Venezuela and I think worldwide; and I could say that it is warm and gentle, because it welcomes the good things that happen in our lives, even when they are late. A nice and true saying.
In religious processions, a large number of people attend, who walk, so if a person of short stature (dwarf) attends one of these events, they will not have enough visibility to be able to orient themselves and know where they are going. So, when using this saying we are referring to someone who is very disoriented or out of place in life or in some specific matter. This saying is said by my brother with some frequency.
