Introduction
Welcome back to Maledicturs Terra. This is a Chain Story between myself and @lex-zaiya, meaning that we each write the parts alternatively.

Part 105
Everyone looked at the Forest Prince. Except for Leo and Millmor who where beginning to fidget under their bonds once more. There was a yellow liquid seeping from the wounds in Leo's chest. Between his grunted prayers there were grunts of pain.
Derric was staring at Millmor. He had somewhat mixed feelings now. This was his guardian and protector, yet it had meant to kill him. "So you were compelled by my real mother to protect and raise me? The woman you killed?"
Nobody said anything. Magna had brought to the party something that the others had not considered - the free will of the afflicted.
Millmor strained against his bonds again as Derric began to speak, he craned his head to look at Derric. He snarled and snapped his teeth then visibly seemed to shrink back for a moment. "I... I... was compelled to kill."
"Like I said..." Lucien began.
"Shhhh! Let him speak." Magna stopped him.
The Ghoul King's resolve seemed to lapse and he snarled again, fighting his bonds. Derric came closer but still out of reach and kneeled before Millmor's prone body. Magna got up and gave them some space.
"You were compelled to kill me? What would you have done if you were not compelled? Did you not come from my Kingdom?"
Millmor was again fighting his compulsions. "... taken... away from home... changed... me... us... created to kill..."
Derric stood and looked at Adiran. "Did you not know that there was magic on Millmor? How could you have dealt with him so many times and not seen these curses and compulsions that command him? He had to have several curses on him of magical nature. Yet you said nothing."
Adiran grunted and grimaced. "A Ghoul King, looking after a shapeshifting boy in a forest full of ghouls had magic and curses on him? Sure. I knew there was magic on him. But it would be unlikely that you would have been able to discern the nature of that magic without him knowing about it... which would have been... rude and had him asking me questions." He shrugged. "Besides. I doubt I would have been able to figure out a Divine level curse."
Derric nodded. Satisfied with that explanation, he turned his attention to Millmor. He did not ask any more questions. Instead, he searched his heart and his memories.
Finally, he stood and nodded to Magna. "Whatever needs to happen to give Millmor a chance. It must be taken. I can't do anything for him, when he is... able to speak I will try to learn more from him. Right now there is nothing that I can do, but I trust you."
I sort of ran out of time for writing... also the kids kept interrupting me during my writing session so I was much annoyed... so back to Lex on this one!
