My Friend's Birthday on the Unique Day
"My friend was born on an unusual day, on the 29th of February. Surely, it was written in her documents as the 28th, and she celebrates her birthday as often as all other people, every year. Now, when we overcame our 60-year milestones, I was sure she would not mind to recalculate her age as four times less, but... to my surprise, she refused to be 16 😁."

Bannoffee with your Coffee?
"You guys probably know by now that the accompanying guilty pleasure of mine that goes with my coffee is some form of sweet treat.
Cake, biscuit, tart, they are all welcome in my house (and mouth). I was saying a few days ago that what I lack in making our meals look pretty, I make up for in making desserts that taste really good. So this is a layered tart and it has bananas in it - which is a fruit - so it's at least partly healthy 🤣"

There's something about coffee...
"You know, it's funny how no matter what coffee shop you go to, the barista will always have that one particular customer that would make their days better in an instant. That's what he was to me. Let's call him Adam. Adam was one of my favourite customers - even though, in the beginning I wouldn't admit it. He was tall, had piercing blue eyes and the most contagious smile. I smiled whenever I was talking to him. And even though we didn't know each other that well, we always found something to talk about to the point where he'd stay for 20-30 minutes and I'd get called out by my coworker"

The coffee and toasty gift
"I listened to an older couple in the booth beside me discuss issues around their finances...But...what broke my heart was when they decided to only buy one coffee and share it. No, I wasn't having it.
I gathered my things and made to leave but before I did I stopped at the counter and paid for two coffee's and two toasted sandwiches which I asked the guy to offer to the couple after I had exited. He looked at me like I was weird but I'm a regular and he said he would do so; I paid and hobbled off and away."

Cinnamon Cup Coffee - Coffee at Bolsover Castle
"After visiting Bolsover Castle, which is only about 20 minutes from where I live, we popped into the Castle's on site cafe. The cafe is situated just in front of the castle.There wasn't a lot of choice in coffee, just the usual suspects, so we had a black Americano and a latte. It was a nice enough atmosphere though."

Why I Love Not-So-Hyped Up Coffeeshops Feat. Neighborhood Café
"Last week during my one-weekday-Me-time schedule, I chose to re-visit Neighborhood Café. I've been in the coffee house once before, with my girlfriends. That's when I knew they serve FREAKIN' TASTY, creamy and affordable milkshakes - one of the best in town, if I may be humble to say so. I was cravin' for some milkshake goodness - so off I went.
One of the things I appreciated about the place is its interior - while most of the "trendy places" go for minimalist all white interior, Neighborhood chose a homey vibe."

"I like the outdoors but today that certainly isn’t an option
YUCK!
Ughhhh rain and cold, rain and cold. So to turn my proverbial frown upside down I will indulge in some drugs...caffeine will be my saviour and my salvation today. A nice lovely piping hot fresh brew will cheer me up and have me feeling tickety boo. I be toasty, warm and snug in my floating metal tube that keeps me out of the rain and serves as my home, my transport and my salvation, well that and the coffee of course 😉."

Coffee too hot? I have a solution
"The new coffee mugs from Bodum finally arrived to replace the one I broke unfortunately they do not make the same style as the bistro that I dropped but I’m really pleased with the replacement. They are a lot more modern and a twin wall glass style mug that look really nice they hold more coffee too bonus. They insulate very well too so you don’t burn your fingers which was the reason I dropped the last one."

"Anybody could come in and put in their interesting coffee request and not one there made a decision about them in light of the color, flavor, or caffeine level. We were generally people who love coffee so much and the legend behind coffee drinking brought friendship to humanity."

The Legend of Black Bean
"This little store specialises in coffee and the variety of coffee beans found here are pretty impressive. Kept in glass containers are coffee beans from different countries. On the wall, photos of travellers can be seen. Many tourist have visited this shop. One of the must visits if you do visit Kuching city. Even coffee beans get its own frame. It feels like home. That's what most kitchens look like in Sarawak."

Starbucks Sakura Special
"Spring Approaches
It’s basically the end of February. As we get closer to spring, many look forward to warmer weather, blooming flowers, clearer skies and spring treats. One thing for sure is that in Japan, people are looking forward to viewing the cherry blossoms, sakura. 🌸🌸
While waiting however, they are certainly enjoying sakura treats. Shops are already clad in sakura decor and are serving and offering delightful bites and beverages. Coffee shops are no exception."

Comparison of coffee brewing methods. V60 vs Espresso. Dabov Specialty Coffee
"Just until now I have enjoyed only the espresso packet, but today I opened the V60 grind too, so it’s time for a “battle”... Now both the coffees are ready and it’s time to try and enjoy the final result. The right decision now is to start with the lighter one. And this is the V60 of course! If I decided to go with the espresso first, the filter coffee would feel very watery and flavorless."

"The preparation is very simple. I am going to use a llanero cheese produced at my friend Alexis Nadales' Finca El Tamarindo. I press it well to get rid of as much of the whey as possible and thus make the cheese very hard.After I have the cheese hard I just prepare a mixture of ground coffee and black pepper."

"When I get a very different recipe that catches my attention I get very excited. Another thing I love about coffee is that it can be made quickly, perfect to satisfy a craving, which happens to me all the time. Coffee Machine Blog 1 "Atomic Vintage Coffee Maker"
"Now this coffee machine requires a hot plate or gas as it builds pressure inside. It does get hot like really hot so I would advise not to touch it with you bare hands and to have a thick cloth so you are able to move it if need be. While gas is on and boiling the coffee inside and creating the pressure to travel up and extract the coffee. The bottom plate does get hot so it act like a cup warmer."

"Stepping into the shop, I was very impressed because the decor is quite nice and modern. Although the restaurant is quite small, it is arranged very scientifically to bring an airy, comfortable space, not creating a feeling of "suffocating" for customers. In terms of space, not too large, with few tables, often crowded on weekends. The main colour is white - blue and many angles on the picture are shimmering."

"After breakfast, I headed to the family room. A cup of coffee and a plate of biscuits were already on the table. Hmm, the smell is very familiar on the nose. Mom's black coffee. Simple coffee with a special blend made by my mother which I always miss. It tasted very good.
