I'm someone who's always been drawn to stories with supernatural or spiritual themes, which is why I couldn't miss an anime like Noragami. This series is a gem because it blends the supernatural with ancient Japanese culture. It also has touches of comedy and drama that make it even more special. The animation is one of the things I really loved, and of course, how could I not, since it's by the famous Studio Bones? In short, the series deals with gods and spirits that coexist in the human world, a world that would go unnoticed by most of us.
Soy de las personas que siempre le han gustado los temas que tocan historias relacionadas con lo sobrenatural o lo espiritual, es por eso que un anime como Noragami no me lo pod铆a perder. Esta serie es una joya porque mezcla el tema de lo sobrenatural con la cultura japonesa antigua. Adem谩s, tambi茅n tiene toques de comedia y algo de drama que le dan un extra para hacerla m谩s especial. La animaci贸n es una de las cosas que debo resaltar que me gust贸 mucho, y claro, 驴c贸mo no me iba a gustar si est谩 hecha por el famoso estudio Bones? Y la serie trata, de manera resumida sobre Dioses y esp铆ritus que coexisten en el mundo de los humanos, que para la mayor铆a de nosotros pasar铆a desapercibido.
The story features a series of gods of varying ranks, but focuses primarily on Yato, better known as the God of Calamity. He is nearly forgotten and largely ostracized by most of the gods because he has neither his own temple nor any humans to worship him. This is where our protagonist, Hiyori, comes in. She is a girl with the ability to separate her spirit from her body, granting her access to this spiritual world that remains hidden from the eyes of others.
La historia presenta una serie de Dioses que tienen diferentes rangos pero se enfoca m谩s que todo en el Dios Yato, mejor conocido como el Dios de la Calamidad que est谩 casi olvidado y es bastante discriminado por la mayor铆a de los Dioses porque 茅l no tiene un templo propio ni tampoco humanos que lo veneren. Es all铆 cuando entra nuestra protagonista, mejor conocida como Hiyori, una chica que tiene la capacidad de separar su esp铆ritu de su cuerpo, d谩ndole la oportunidad de trancitar por este mundo espiritual que pasa desapercibido a los ojos de los dem谩s.
The comedic moments arrive when Hiyori's soul suddenly separates from her body, which usually happens in very inopportune situations, like when she tries to save the god Yato from being hit by a bus. Her body is left lying on the sidewalk while her soul rushes off to save this god of calamity that nobody wants. From then on, their fates are intertwined, and this girl cannot return to normal until Yato improves his reputation in this spirit world that has discriminated against him so much that he performs favors for a mere five yen.
Los toques de comedia llegan cuando Hiyori separa su alma repentinamente de su cuerpo, lo cual suele suceder en situaciones muy inoportunas como cuando intenta salvar a este Dios Yato de que lo atropellara un autob煤s, su cuerpo qued贸 tirado en la acera mientras que su alma corri贸 para salvar a este Dios de la Calamidad que nadie quiere. Desde entonces sus destinos estar谩n unidos y esta chica no podr谩 regresar a la normalidad hasta que Yato mejore su reputaci贸n en este mundo espiritual que lo ha discriminado tanto que cumple favores por tan solo cinco yenes.
Another character who joins this peculiar duo is Yukine, a wandering soul that Yato captures to use as his spiritual weapon, a Shinki. Another aspect I enjoy about this series is seeing the evolution of the relationship between these three characters. At first, it's like trying to mix oil and water, but as the episodes progress, each of them gradually adapts to the others, strengthening their bond and forging a true friendship that seeks only the well-being of the others.
Otro personaje que se agrega a este peculiar d煤o es Yukine, un alma errante que Yato atrapa para usarla como su arma espiritual llamada Shinki. Otro aspecto que me gusta de esta serie es ver la evoluci贸n en la relaci贸n de estos tres personajes. Al inicio es como intentar mezclar el agua con el aceite pero a medida que transcurren los cap铆tulos, cada uno de ellos se va acoplando al otro hasta fortalecer la relaci贸n entre ellos y forjar una verdadera amistad que s贸lo busca el bienestar del otro.
On the other hand, I admit that this story reminded me a bit of the style shown in Inuyasha. Yato has a troubled past that led him to become the God of Calamity and to be despised by the other gods. Hiyori acts as a balance between Yukine and Yato, so little by little, the three of them complement each other, forming a kind of friendly symbiosis. Furthermore, it touches on Shinto mythology, gradually exploring the concept of purity and corruption. In addition, the series makes it clear that gods need followers to continue existing, so Yato lives in constant fear of what will happen if he is forgotten. Therefore, this series has many strong points to enjoy in its two seasons and OVAs.
Por otro lado, admito que esta historia me record贸 un poco al estilo que se muestra en Inuyasha. Yato posee un pasado turbio que lo llev贸 a convertirse en el Dios de la Calamidad y a ser despreciado por los dem谩s dioses. Hiyori viene a ser la balanza entre Yukine y Yato, as铆 que poco a poco se complementan entre los 3 formando como una especie de simbiosis amistosa. Por otro lado, toca el tema de la mitolog铆a sinto铆sta, que explora poco a poco el concepto de la pureza y la corrupci贸n. Adem谩s, la historia de la serie deja claro que los dioses necesitan seguidores para seguir existiendo, por lo que Yato vive con constante miedo de lo que suceder谩 si llega a ser olvidado. As铆 que esta serie tiene muchos puntos fuertes para disfrutarla con sus 2 temporadas y sus OVAS.
