I watched this movie because a friend insisted and recommended it. Honestly, I haven't had time for anything lately, but since it was part of the Predator saga, I had to make an exclusive slot to give this film a chance. For me, it turned out to be a masterpiece. This is because the film maintains its style full-throttle, telling a story–or rather, three very well-executed and developed stories-that simply hook you, making it impossible to look away for a second. Suspense is key during these 85 minutes, but alongside it, there's also persistent drama, action, and a lot of mercilessly shown gore.

Esta película la vi por insistencia y recomendación de una amiga. La verdad es que no he tenido tiempo de nada últimamente pero al tratarse de la saga de Depredador, tuve que abrir un espacio única y exclusivamente para darle una oportunidad a esta Película que para mí, resultó ser una obra mestra. Esto porque el film mantiene su estilo a todo dar, cuenta una historia, o mejor dicho 3 historias muy bien llevadas y desarrolladas que simplemente te atrapan y no puedes dejar de mirar por un segundo. El suspenso es la clave en estos 85 minutos, pero además de ello también persiste el drama, la acción y muchísimo Gore que se muestra sin piedad.

One of the things I loved most about this movie was its visual design, from the scenery to the characters, especially the Predators. Their camouflage effect was masterfully done, and the infrared vision effects were an unexpectedly brilliant bonus. From start to finish, the entire film maintains all the essence that a true fan of this saga would want to see. For me, it's one of their best works, especially in terms of animation. You can tell they invested a lot of money to create this masterpiece, made with full dedication, ensuring no detail was lost, as it's loaded with sublimely executed details.

Una de las cosas que más me gustaron de esta película fueron sus diseños visuales, tanto del panorama como de sus personajes, sobre todo de los depredadores. Su efecto de camuflaje estuvo hecho de manera magistral y los efectos de visión infraroja fueron un plus inesperadamente bien hecho. Todo el film, desde que inicia hasta que termina mantiene toda la esencia que un verdadero fan de esta saga desearía ver. Para mí es uno de los mejores trabajos que han hecho, sobre todo a nivel de animación. Es decir, se nota que invirtieron gran cantidad de dinero para obtener esta obra maestra, hecha a todo dar sin dejar que nada se pierda, ya que está cargada de muchos detalles, hechos sublimente.

If I had to pick a favorite story from the film, I'd say it was the Samurai's. And no, it's not because I'm an Otaku; it's because his story is filled with drama, and more importantly, immense honor. It tells the tale of a man deeply faithful to his culture, his teachings, and the responsibility that comes with wielding a sword. While this was my top pick, I can't overlook the other two stories. In their ways, they add so much to this film, making it truly special. The Viking warrior's story was my second favorite. Her narrative, driven by a thirst for vengeance, was the icing on the cake for me. And what can I even say about the aerial battle against the Predators? Each chapter in the movie is truly unique and special on its own, but together? They created a Magnum Opus.

Si me dieran a elegir cuál de las historias contadas fue mi favorita, diria que la del Samurai, y no se debe a que sea un Otaku, sino porque su historia denota drama, pero sobre todo mucho honor. Contando la historia de un hombre que le es fiel a su cultura, a sus enseñanzas, a la responsabilidad de llevar una espada. Y aunque esta historia fue de mis favoritas, no puedo dejar de lado las otras dos que se cuentan ya que a su manera suman demasiado a este film, haciéndolo realmente especial. La historia de la guerrera vikinga fue mi segunda favorita. Su relato contado con sed de venganza fue la guinda del pastel para mí ¿Y qué podría decir de la pelea aerea contra los depredadores? Es decir, cada capítulo de la película es realmente único y especial, ¿pero juntos? Crearon una Magnum Opus.

This film, without a doubt, occupies a special spot in my heart, both as a devoted fan and as an Otaku. Finally, and crucially, I must commend the classic yet distinctly personalized style bestowed upon each Predator. Witnessing these aliens in their full glory was truly fantastic, as they hunted not just for sheer strength but also to rigorously test their opponents' intelligence. Furthermore, it was immensely gratifying to behold the exceptionally well-choreographed fight sequences between a mere human warrior and a relentless alien, whose vastly superior technology afforded it a significant edge against any adversary.

Sin duda este film guarda un lugar especial en mi corazón, como fan y como Otaku. Por último pero no menos importante debo resaltar el estilo clásico pero personalizado que le otorgaron a cada depredador. Para mí fue genial ver estos alienígenas en todo su splendor, no sólamente cazando al mejor luchador por su fuerza sino también para probar su inteligencia. Y fue muy grato ver las escenas de pelea tan bien hechas entre un simple humano guerrero contra un despiadado alienígena con tecnología super avanzada que le daba gran ventaja ante cualquier oponente.
