What can I say about Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood that hasn't already been said in this community? I think almost nothing, since I consider myself just another fan of this incredible series, but especially of its second version, which is a work of art not only because of its impeccable designs but also because of its adaptation, which remained so faithful to the manga. This series touches the heartstrings of anyone who watches it. You immediately connect with the Elric brothers because of the tragic moment shown at the beginning of the series. In addition, the choice of intros and endings are so good that since I heard them for the first time, I added them to my music repertoire. Hearing them transports me to the universe of Full Metal Alchemist every time.

¿Qué puedo decir de Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood que no se haya dicho antes en esta comunidad? Creo que casi nada, ya que me considero un fan más de esta increible serie, pero sobre todo de su segunda versión hecha obra de arte no sólo por sus diseños impecables de dibujo sino por su adaptación que se mantuvo tan fiel al manga. Esta serie le toca la fibra a cualquiera que la ve. De inmediato haces clic con los hermanos Elric por su trágico momento mostrado al inicio de la serie. Además la elección de sus intros y endings son tan buenos que desde que los escuché la primera vez los coloqué en mi repertorio musical. Oirlos cada vez me transporta al universo de Full Metal Alchemist.

I was amazed as I read each chapter published in the manga. But I was disappointed when I saw the first anime adaptation and how much it deviated from the original story. I was one of many fans disappointed by this story's downfall in its first version. However, my eyes filled with joy when I saw that after so many complaints and, of course, waiting for it to be done justice, they managed to give all of us fans this manga turned into a majestic anime. The truth is that when I watched the first episodes, I was so enchanted that for me it was like watching a work made by fans for fans. Everything was very well done from start to finish, as it should have always been.

Quedé maravillado mientras leía cada capítulo que se publicaba en el manga. Pero me decepcioné al ver la primera adaptación del animé y que se desviara tanto de la historia original. Fui uno de los muchos fanáticos decepcionados por esta historia lleva a pique en su primera versión. Sin embargo, mis ojos se llenaron de alegría al ver que luego de tantas quejas y por supuesto de esperar a que le hicieran justicia, lograron darnos a todos los fans este manga hecho animé majestuosamente. La verdad es que al mirar los primeros capítulos quedé tan encantado que para mi fue ver un trabajo hecho por fans para fans. Todo muy bien hecho de principio a fin como debió haber sido siempre.

Este universo de los hermanos Elric me obsecionó tanto que me hizo investigar sobre la alquimia, sobre la piedra filosofal y me hizo admitir que los que crearon la serie, sobre todo el manga, sabían muy bien lo que hacían. Todo, hasta el más minimo detalle fue tomado en cuenta en estos aspectos para desarrollar una de las mejores historias dramáticas y cargdas de acción con justicia en este animé. Acá tocan temas profundos, cargados de filosofía, de manera sutil y fáciles de comprender, dejando una marca en la vida de quien lo ve. Este no es sólo un animé más, es enseñanza de vida, es reflexionar sobre la humanidad, la guerra y el amor.

For me, Roy Mustang is one of the most outstanding characters in the series, both for his complex personality and his iconic charisma. One of the things I liked most about him is the fact that he was considered one of the most powerful alchemists in Amestris, but in reality he had a weakness that his enemies knew very well. He couldn't use his alchemy in the rain or when there was no oxygen. This led the villains to repeatedly push him to his limits, causing him to lose his best friend and uncover the government's conspiracy. All of these situations forced him to grow and become stronger, eventually turning him into an idealistic hero.

Para mí Roy Mustang es uno de los personajes que más destaca en la serie, tanto por su personalidad compleja como por su emblemático carisma. Una de las cosas que más me gustó de él, es el hecho de que lo consideraran uno de los alquimistas más poderosos de Amestris, pero en realidad él tenia una debilidad que sus enemigos conocían muy bien. No podía usar su alquimia bajo la lluvia o mientras no hubiera oxígeno. Esto hizo que en reiteradas ocasiones los villanos lo llevaran al límit, perdiendo a su mejor amigo, descubriendo la conspiración del gobierno, todas estas situaciones lo forzaron a crecer y hacerse más fuerte, llegando a convertirse en un héroe idealista.

Another thing I loved about this series, and what made it so memorable and special to me, is the development of its villains. In this version, they were very well portrayed. Each villain, such as the leader King Bradley and The Dwarf in the Bottle, evolved perfectly and was so well adjusted to the manga that I enjoyed seeing them at their best. Seeing King transform from a natural leader into a ruthless and remorseless being was one of the best parts of the series, while the Father turned out to be the worst of them all, acting as the embodiment of arrogance and the desire for absolute power. Both characters took the Brotherhood series to another level that is difficult to match.

Otra de las cosas que me encantó de esta serie y que la hizo tan memorable y especial para mi, es el desarrollo de sus villanos. Estos, para esta versión estuvieron muy bien plasmados, es decir, cada villano como el lider King Bradley y El Enano en el Frasco, fueron evolucionando a la perfección y tan bien ajustados al manga que me causó gusto verlos en su máxima expresión. Ver a King como dejaba de ser un lider innato para transformarse en un ser implacable y sin remordimientos fue una de las mejores partes que tuvo la serie, mientras que el Padre resultó ser el peor de todos al actuar como la encarnación de la arrogancia y el deseo de poder absoluto. Ambos personajes, le dieron a la serie de Broherhood otro nivel dificil de igualar.
