Democracy Has Ruined Our Country !

Democracy is viewed positively around the world, and it is believed that people use their right to vote to elect their rulers, who come into power for a fixed period and manage the country's affairs.

If this truly happens and people genuinely elect their rulers by exercising their right to vote, it would be great. But that’s not happening. I haven’t travelled the world, but in my country, this is not the case, and from what I’ve observed, here, in the name of democracy, people are being deceived.

Since my country's independence, many parties have governed here, and the military has also imposed martial law. But if we look at history, only two parties have predominantly ruled so far.

We are suffering today because of these two parties, and our future generations will also suffer. These two parties, due to their high influence, always win elections through rigging, which raises serious questions about democracy. We have seen firsthand how fake votes are used to ensure the victory of their representatives. But we are helpless, as our military is involved in all of this, and we can't do anything against it.

If I talk about five years ago, our military was considered a hero to us. But in these last five years, we've witnessed incidents that have made it clear that the elections in our country are merely a facade. The government is predetermined, and only those who have made deals with the military will come into power.

As far as I’ve read about democracy, there should be no external influence, no matter how powerful someone may be. People should have the full right to choose their preferred leader, and if they are not satisfied with that leader’s performance, they should also have the right to remove them from office. That is true democracy, but that’s not happening here.

It pains me deeply to write all this, seeing the condition of our country. Every ruler who has come to power here has only thought of themselves. They have built properties abroad and stashed the people's money in foreign banks by looting it from here.
