Delicious Alu Palak (Spinach with Potatoes) Recipe !

So, We are here again on another Sunday, It's a day where we can do some creative tasks and share them with our Hive family.


Ingredients


  • 2 Kg spinach (palak), washed and chopped
  • 1 Kg potatoes (alu), peeled and diced
  • 5,6 tomatoes, chopped
  • 400 ML oil
  • Salt ( as per taste )
  • 2 TableSpoon Ginger Garlic paste.
  • 1 Teaspoon Red chilli powder.
  • 1/2 Teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 Teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 TableSpoon Dry coriander powder
  • 3 tablespoons green chilli paste.

Cooking Procedure


The first step is to cut the extra roots of spinach and wash it properly, after washing, we will boil the spinach for around 2 hours. You can see this in the picture.

While spinach being boiled, we will move to another step, we will take oil in the cooking pot and we will add tomatoes. we will cut the tomatoes into a round shape.

After that, we will make ginger garlic paste.

add the ginger garlic paste to the cooking pot.

Now it's potato time, cut the potatoes into cube shapes.

add potatoes to the cooking pot along with tomatoes, ginger garlic paste.

Let it cook for some time.

now we will add dry spices to the cooking pot.

Mix them well.

here you can see boiled spinach.

we will chop the spinach in the chopper.

After chopping the spinach properly, we will it to the cooking pot.

Green chillies are one of the main ingredients, they will add spice to your dish, if you are a spice lover, don't forget to add them.

chop them in the water with the help of a chopper.

add these chopped chillies to the cooking pot.

Bring the yoghurt.

add it to the cooking pot and mix well.

cover the cooking pot and let it cook for about half an hour.
