Hello, how are you? Yesterday was the worst day of my life because the strong wind, rain, and thunder were so scary, and it felt like we experienced a tropical cyclone.

Weather news doesn't lie, and the start of super El Niño this month triggers heavy rain and thunder.

Lucky me, I am not the one who cooks our dinner LOL. So what I cook for our lunch is paksiw na bangus whenever they bought bangus it is always requested to me to cook either paksiw or sinigang. I prefer sinigang, especially if you use miso sinigang mix, and the best thing I've ever tasted since I discovered that specific sinigang mix. That's how I cook sinigang ever since, and it will never fail to impress me, to be honest. So, for my Filipino folks, you should try the miso sinigang mix for bangus.

Ingredients I Used:

  • 1 tsp. Cooking Oil
  • Garlic
  • Red Onion
  • Ginger
  • 1 tsp. Fish Sauce
  • 4 tbsp. White Vinegar
  • 1 cup Water
  • Ground Pepper

Let's Cook!

In a pot, I pour about one teaspoon of cooking oil, and I add the garlic, red onion, and ginger and sauté them until the aroma comes out.

Then I added a teaspoon of fish sauce and let it seep into the aromatics for a few minutes.

And then I added four tablespoons of white vinegar.

After that, I added the bangus, and then I added a cup of water and ground pepper. Then cook on low heat for 20 minutes on each side with the lid on.

I suggest you let it sit for a few hours for better taste.

Happy eating! :D

Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
Please take care of your mental health as well.
I hope you are okay today :))
