Hello, how are you? I've been craving adobong sitaw for a week now, and yesterday my dad bought long string beans and I cook it for our lunch today but the one I'll supposed to cook will be pack for their lunch for school but I cooked late so, me and my brother ate it and left some for our dinner LOL.

At first, I was planning to just cook it with bagoong, but I remembered I was craving it so it is been a while so I almost forget how I cook it before. I remembered I failed to cook it before because I added too much water to it, so the flavor is not gonna be absorbed by the beans, and the less water, the better.

Ingredients I Used:

  • 1 tbsp. Cooking Oil
  • Salt
  • Ground Pepper
  • Pork Meat
  • Garlic
  • Red Onion
  • Long String Beans
  • 2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup of Water
  • Half Chicken Broth Cube

Let's Cook!

In a pan, I pour a tablespoon of cooking oil, and then I season the oil with salt and ground pepper.

Then I added the pork belly cook it until the meat turn crispy, the crispier the better.

Add the garlic, red onion, and ginger, and sauté them until the aroma comes out.

Then I added the long string bean and sautéed it for about a minute.

Then I added 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.

Then add ground pepper.

Add a teaspoon of brown sugar.

Then I added a cup and a half of water.

To add more flavor, I added half a cube of chicken broth. Mix everything.

Cook it for about 5-8 minutes over medium heat.

Serve hot and plated.

Happy eating.
