Hello, how are you? Last time I cooked ginisang patola, my family liked it. When a dish is liked by my family, that dish will be cooked and served frequently, and I really like how I cook it too, so they bought more of it LOL.
Vegetables are more expensive now than meat is, and it's not on my bingo card and mind you before organic vegetables are more cheaper before and now they're triple the expensive than regular vegetables.
So yeah, I am going to cook ginisang patola for our dinner, and I saw that we still have vermicelli left, so I am going to add some, but I like the misua better.
Ingredients I Used:
Ingredients I Used:

- ground pepper
Let's Cook!
Let's Cook!
In a pan, I added a tablespoon of cooking oil and then added the meat of your choice. I prefer chicken for this dish, but we ran out of it, so I am going to use a pork chop. Cook it until the texture turns crispy.
Add the garlic, red onion and ginger in sautee them until the aroma comes out.
Add a tablespoon of fish sauce and let it seep into the meat and aromatics.
Add two cups of water and bring to a boil.
While it is the process of boiling I am going to add a chicken broth cube.
When it starts boiling, I am going to add the patola first.
Then add the vermicelli next.
Let it cook for about 5-8 minutes or until the patola and vermicelli is tender to eat.
Serve hot and plated.
Happy eating! :D
