Hello, how are you? I am craving home-baked cookies, but I have no energy to make them or buy ingredients LOL. But I have an idea to make a clay keychain out of it because I have this list that I should attempt to make.

There was this one time I was browsing online and came across this video on how to make the perfect chocolate chip cookies, and at that time my mom bought an oven, and I was looking online for anything to bake.

Materials I Used:

  • Polymer Clay
  • Weighing Scale
  • Needle Tool
  • White Paper
  • Dotting Tool
  • Clay Hole Cutter
  • X- Acto Knife
  • Metal Ball
  • UV Resin
  • UV Lamp
  • Nail Polish Brush
  • Disposable Gloves
  • Mask
  • Acrylic Stamping Block
  • Soft Pastels
  • Brush
  • Eyepin
  • Oven
  • Pliers
  • Keychain

Craft Time!

Condition the clay by kneading it.

If you need a specific weight for your clay, I suggest you use a portable weighing scale. Before I shape the clay, I cut brown baked clay into pieces, just like chocolate.

Mix it into the unbaked clay I kneaded earlier.

Then shape it into a cookie shape, and as you can see, there are chunks of brown clay appearing on the clay, and then I am going to use all my texture tools to add texture to the clay.

Now that I've added the texture.

To make it more realistic, I use soft pastel to shade the clay. I apply the soft pastels using any brush, and then I cut brown clay as a chocolate topping this time.

Press the clay down onto the brown clay chunks.

This is what it looks like after.

After that, bake the clay in the oven at the temperature and time instructed in the packaging.

After baking, I forgot to add the eye pin, so I am going to add it now.

To add the melted chocolate, I mix resin and soft pastel close to the chocolate.

Using the toothpick, I apply it where I want the melted chocolate to be.

Then cure it under UV light for a few minutes.

And then I coat it again with resin again and I apply it using nail polish brush.

Cure it under UV light again for five minutes or until there is no sticky feeling to it.

Add the keychain by locking it with pliers.

This is what it looks like.

Chocolate chips cookie.
