Saludos Runners.
ENGLISH VERSION
Greetings runners.
After several days of being unable to train with the team due to work commitments, today I had the great opportunity to go for a run with the team. It’s always a must—training together helps us a lot; it’s a type of training that’s undoubtedly necessary. Today we left early and gathered in the Farmatodo parking lot. While we waited for our teammates to arrive, we warmed up a bit—it’s very important to warm up before starting. Once everyone was there, we began our run.
For today’s training, we took a great route with hills, making the most of the benefits of a long run combined with hill work. Thank God the weather was really nice, since it had rained all day the day before. In total, we ran 10.93 km. My wife and my teammates ran a little farther, since I’ve been a bit absent from training lately and felt a little exhausted on the climb. I rehydrated with coconut water and ate a guava snack, and thank God I recovered in time for the descent. I kept my training in Zones 2 and 3.
