Cauliflower & Chicken Medley : Gobhi Gosht Masterpiece

Before Starting the recipe, I want to tell you something, Cauliflower in Our language ( Urdu ) is called Gobhi and Chicken is called Gosht, it's our seasonal recipe and we usually cook it in Winter. If you ask me, it is one of my favourite dishes.

let's Start.


Ingredients


  • 2 KG Cauliflower.
  • 1 KG Chicken
  • 4-5 Tomatoes
  • 1 Bunch Of Green coriander.
  • 20 Green Chillies
  • 1 Inch Ginger
  • 10-12 Cloves of Garlic.
  • Salt ( As Per Your Taste )
  • 1 TableSpoon Red Chilli Powder.
  • 1 TeaSpoon Turmeric.
  • 1/2 TeaSpoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Dry Coriander Powder
  • 400 ML Oil

Cooking Procedure


The first step is to Cut the cauliflower and after cutting wash it properly in water.

Now take a cooking Pot, add clean water to it and Keep it on the Stove, and let it get warm. when it gets warm, add Cauliflower in it and let it boil for 5 minutes.

Now use the stainer to stain the Cauliflower and keep it aside with you.

Now add Ginger and garlic in the hand Chopper.

Chop both these things in the chopper as shown in the picture and also keep them aside.

Now Take the Pressure Cooker, add oil to it, and keep it on the stove and wait for the oil to get Hot. Add ginger Garlic paste in the Oil and let it get brown.

Now cut the Tomatoes like shown in the picture.

when ginger garlic paste gets a little brown in the oil, add tomatoes to it.

Cook it for 5 minutes until Ginger Garlic paste and tomatoes get mixed properly and tomatoes get softened.

Wash the Chicken properly.

Add it to the Cooking pot and cook it for 7-8 minutes.

These are the dry Spices. they are mentioned in the ingredient section.

add dry species to the pressure Cooker mix them well and cook it for 2-3 minutes.

Now Bring the Boiled Cauliflower and add it to the Pressure cooker.

Mix it properly with the help of a Wood spatula. Now cook it for 2-3 minutes.

Now bring the Green coriander and Green chillies. Wash them and Cut them like shown in the picture.

add both these to the Pressure cooker and mix them well.

Now Cover the Pressure Cooker and Steam it for almost 5 minutes on the low flame and wait for 1 whistle. After 1 Whistle, uncover the cooking pressure and remove the steam, Cook it on the high flame for 2-3 minutes. in this procedure, you need to keep moving it with a spatula.

Here is the final dish of your Tasty Cauliflower Chicken Medly. Believe me, when you eat it, you will want to eat it every week. we usually cook this dish at least once a week.
